Snowater property weathered the storm over the weekend of November 20, 2021. There were a couple trees at the river front that were pulled into the weather, and one garbage can liner and lid along with a BBQ. The river water line continues to recede. The Mt Baker Hwy was closed for a few days at Boulder Creek headed East into Glacier. No buildings were affected by the rising waters. All of our employees, owners, and visitors were safe during the storm. Our hearts and prayers are extended to all those in Whatcom County and surrounding areas that have been affected.

Our gratitude to Mike and the Maintenance staff for keeping Snowater safe and for being a steady presence and assurance to owners and guests onsite during the wettest days last weekend. Thank goodness the river didn’t rise higher than it did. Did not reach the buildings closest to the river – Log Cabin, 800 and Clubhouse. Mike advised that the river dropped 4.5 feet in one day after cresting on Monday.
